Where does Cuyahoga County stand when it comes to the health of its residents? How many people have healthcare coverage? How many have been diagnosed with asthma? Diabetes? Other health conditions? What is the mental health status of the county’s residents?
Organizations from across Cuyahoga County came together in 2012 to work on answering these – and many other – questions and to gain a better understanding of the health needs of the community.
The Center for Health Affairs with the help of its consulting partner, the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio and stakeholder group, collectively known as Cuyahoga County Health Partners (CCHP), developed and distributed a survey to the community to examine important health issues and determine where Cuyahoga County stands when it comes to the health of its residents.
The results of this county-wide survey will be released to the public for the first time at the Cuyahoga County Health Check: An Overview of Results from the 2012 Community Health Needs Assessment, Tuesday, April 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Scott Auditorium at MetroHealth Medical Center, and your're invited to join us. There is no cost to attend this community event. Light refreshments will be served.
