From Web to Mobile:
Transitioning without Missing a Beat

How do we leapfrog from a web focus to a mobile focus? Should we use iOS and Android native apps or HTML5 and Responsive Design for mobile sites? Should we charge our users through mobile web or in-app purchases? Should the backend to our apps be on Google App Engine, Amazon Web Services, or our own data center? These are some of the questions that the Mobile team at j2 Global® is tackling right now.

j2 Global, Inc. (NASDAQGS:JCOM) a leading provider of Cloud/SaaS-based services for business. The company serves more than 10 million users through brands such as eFax® and eVoice®. Long an innovator on the web, the company’s initial mobile apps were simple extensions of the web experiences. This presentation will outline the company’s current transition to a “mobile first” strategy as it positions itself for continued growth.
