- Oil and Gas Pipeline Integrity and Corrosion Management
Andrew Kendrick, President
Kendrick Consulting, LLC.
Our July Presentation: The recent oil spill at Refugio State Park has brought pipeline corrosion to the public's attention. This talk will cover the technical issues involved, such as corrosion mechanisms that act on transmission pipelines, along with methods used to detect and mitigate internal and external corrosion. In addition to corrosion, this talk will include a brief review of the integrity threats and mitigation measures likely to have culminated in the recent oil spill at Refugio State Park.
Our Speaker: With 30 years of professional experience as an engineering consultant, Mr. Kendrick's career began in environmental and geotechnical engineering, including geochemistry, geophysics, and hydrogeology for the U.S. Air Force and the Department of the Navy. For the last 11 years, as the President of Kendrick Consulting LLC, he has focused his company's attention on pipeline integrity management, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance for the oil and gas industry.
