Electro Optical Industries is a Santa Barbara company with a 50+ year history of providing unique Photonics Test Equipment. They began with the commercialization of infrared blackbody sources. After a brief explanation of blackbody theory, this talk will cover recent technical challenges they have met for testing Night Vision Goggles, Multi-Camera Mapping Systems, and more. The next chapter for EOI includes their recent merger, which adds new capabilities such as 360-degree Infrared Surveillance Systems.
