Tuesday, February 11, 2020 Stated Meeting of Presbytery at Witherspoon Street Church

 

 

The Stated Meeting of Presbytery will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 beginning at  6:45, at the Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church.

Dinner will not be served at this meeting.  Members of the Central Leadership Team (CLT) invite you to meet with them for conversation from 5:00-6:15PM at Panera (136 Nassau Street, Princeton).  We'll talk about Vital Congregations, NJ Structures/Presbytery reorganization, or whatever is on your mind.

Parking option:  downtown parking garage near the Library and then walk to Panera and then to Witherspoon Street Church for the meeting.

Parking is limited at and around the church. It has been suggested that attendees consider carpooling.

Vital Congregations Mark #4 – Spirit-Inspired Worship
Wear something red for the Spirit and St. Valentine!
Mission: As Hebrews 13:3 tells us to “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” the offertory for the upcoming February Presbytery meeting will be supporting Witherspoon’s MLK Day commitment to organize and formalize their existing pen pal efforts into a pen pal program to the incarcerated women of the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, NJ. Please bring blank note cards, greeting cards, birthday cards, prayer cards and/or postage as an offering.

  • On street parking in the neighborhood
  • parking lot behind 145 Witherspoon St., the one-story red brick office building next to the cemetery. (max 20 cars)
  • municipal garage next to the library. Enter from Wiggins Street or Spring Street
Carpooling is suggested!
5:00pm – Join in conversation with members of the Central Leadership Team at Panera, 135 Nassau St. Princeton 08542. Bring/buy your own meal.
6:45pm – Meeting at Witherspoon St. Church.
