Join the GREEN Summer of Service with State Radio!

Before Chad, Chuck, and Maddog take the stage at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, join Calling All Crows and members of State Radio (above) as they unite with Fairmont Parks Commision for a park and river cleanup at Pennypack Park on the Delaware. Volunteers will take part in weed wrenching, mulching and a general clean-up of the Delaware River. Crows are encouraged to wear long pants, closed toe shoes, bug repellent, sun tan lotion, and to bring water.

Calling All Crows' Green Summer of Service with State Radio is its most ambitious hands on volunteer campaign ever with a goal of engaging 500 fans volunteering over 2,000 hours at 15 environmental service projects.

This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required.

ABOUT THE FAIRMONT PARKS COMMISSION

The Fairmount Parks Commission is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of the Greater Philadelphia Region through the support of the Fairmount Park system.  The Fairmount Park Commission determines the Park's policies and procedures.  Its goal is to increase the visibility and enormous opportunities that Philadelphia has to recapture its position as the nation’s leader in the park and recreation field and sustain the legacy of William Penn’s “greene countrie town.”  For more information about Fairmont Parks Commision, please visit http://www.fairmountpark.org/.

ABOUT CALLING ALL CROWS
