2018 Farm Bill Update
Denise Coleman, USDA NRCS
Eric Hansen, NACD
The National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) considers the Farm Bill the single largest funding program for private land conservation in the United States, providing support for conservation programs, commodity programs, crop insurance, and food security. PACD is pleased to welcome Eric Hansen, NACD Government Affairs Manager and Northeast Region Representative, and Denise Coleman, State Conservationist for Pennsylvania, for this update on the 2018 Farm Bill.
Pennsylvania’s Energy Horizons
Denise Brinley, Governor’s Office of Energy
Adam Walters, Governor’s Office of Energy
Tom Murphy, Penn State Marcellus Center for Outreach and Research
How might Pennsylvania’s energy system evolve in 25 years, and what might it mean for Pennsylvanians? Pennsylvania Energy Horizons seeks to answer this question by exploring two alternative pathways for how social, political, and economic drivers could shape the Commonwealth's energy future, ultimately providing a tool for thinking through how today’s decisions regarding energy can shape our future. Please join us for a session to learn about the project.
