---------------------------------

So, you have the technical side of a project covered- what about the other 95%?

Asset management and reliability programs have not had a history of success in the water and wastewater industry. Often this is not due to a lack of technical knowledge, with a large portion of the body of knowledge in these areas known for decades and well published in academic journals, industry standards and training programs. Often the determining factors in the success of these programs is to do with the ‘how’ of implementation not the ‘what’ of implementation.

This training session will share the secrets of effective asset management and reliability program implementation. The session will focus on the successful implementation of programs at various different utilities and organizations.

Participants will have the following learning outcomes:

  • Understanding of how Strategic Asset Management programs have been implemented at public organizations with a particular focus on implementing these programs at the management and executive management level.

  • Understanding of how tactical asset management programs have been implemented at public organizations with a particular focus on changing the approach of making rehabilitation, replacement and maintenance decisions.

  • Understanding of how reliability programs have been implemented at public organizations with a focus on how data analytics can help tell a story and engage front line staff in adopting the learnings and results from data analytics.

  • Understanding how the understanding of the culture of an organization impacts how to effectively implement Asset Management and reliability programs.

  • The skill sets and roles needed to implement change management programs at your utility.

  • Lessons learnt from change management experienced asset managers.
