Fourth Annual Deck the Halls: Family Festival
On December 14, 2019, Columbia Residential will host the Fourth Annual Deck the Halls: Family Festival. This memorable afternoon of entertainment and community building promises to deliver a fun event for the entire family. Families will have the opportunity to meet and take a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, receive a brand new wrapped toy, refreshments, and create one of a kind take home crafts to deck their halls this holiday season. All of this family fun is provided at absolutely no cost to attendees!
This event is free and open to the public. Children are required to be in attendance in order to receive toys.
The event is first come, first served while supplies last.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY (the “Release”) is given on this 14 day of DECEMBER, 2019, by (“Participant”) in favor of NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC (“FOURTH ANNUAL DECK THE HALLS: FAMILY FESTIVAL”), and its directors, officers, employees, and agents, and the heirs, executors, personal representatives, successors, community partners and assigns of each of them (“NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC”).
Participant desires to attend the New Columbia Residential Property Management, LLC Fourth Annual Deck the Halls: Family Festival event located at Rosel Fann Recreation Center, 365 Cleveland Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30354 (“event”) and to engage in the other activities related to being a Participant. Participant does hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress, give this Release under the following terms:
1. Waiver and Release. Participant does hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from Participant’s activities with respect to the Event and does covenant not to sue any of the NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC Parties with respect to such matters.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Participant understands and agrees that this Release discharges each of the NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC Parties from any liability or claim that Participant may have against any of them with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from Participant’s activities with respect to the Event, whether caused by the negligence of a NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC Party or otherwise. Participant also understands and agrees that NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or any other assistance in the event of injury or illness.
2. Medical Treatment. Participant does hereby release and forever discharge the NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC Parties from any claim whatsoever which arises on account of any first aid, treatment or service rendered in connection with the Participant’s attendance at the Event.
3. Assumption of the Risk. Participant understands participation at the Event may include activities that may be hazardous to the Participant, including, but not limited to, minor injuries such as scratches, bruises, and sprains; major injuries such as eye injury or loss of sight, joint or back injuries, heart attacks, and concussions; and 3) catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death. Participant hereby expressly and specifically assumes the risk of injury or harm in these activities, whether caused by the negligence of a NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC Party or otherwise.
4. Insurance. Participant understands that NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC does not carry or maintain health, medical, or disability insurance coverage for any Participant.
Each Participant is strongly encouraged to have adequate medical or health insurance coverage in effect.
5. Media/Photographic Release. Participant does hereby grant and convey unto NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC all rights, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by NEW COLUMBIA RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC during the Participant’s activities with respect to the Event, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings.
6. Other. Participant expressly agrees that this Release is intended to be as, but only as, broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of Georgia. Participant agrees that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release, all of which shall continue to be enforceable.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Participant has executed this Release as of the day and year first written above.
