Integration of SMI Eye Tracking Solutions with BrainVision Analyzer Software

In a joint project, SensoMotoric Instruments (SMI) and Brain Products worked on the integration of SMI Eye Tracking Solutions in the BrainVision Analyzer Software. Shortly BrainVision Analyzer 2 will be upgraded with a new module that will make it possible to easily import and synchronize co-registered eye tracking data!

Sychronized Eye Tracking

The software uses SMI`s incorporated functions for configurable trigger signals. Integrated setup of eye tracking and EEG hard- and software is made easy by SMI`s programmable digital and analogue data outputs.

Although the Analyzer 2 can be used with several existing eye trackers, the SMI RED500 high-speed remote eye tracking system is the ideal solution for co-registration studies. The contact-free system allows for large freedom of head movement at scientific grade data quality. Exact synchronization is made easy by reliable performance measures, e.g. a latency of less than 4ms.

The new module for BrainVision Analyzer 2 is a ready to go solutions for co-registration studies helpful for all application fields in which attention is of central interest (e.g. Brain-Computer Interface, Neuromarketing, Learing, and Behaviour).
