Living Wall Planters Pre-Order: Hearts, Stars, Letters and Numbers (Empty)

These unique, hand-made living wall planters are fashioned from rustic, re-purposed fence boards into whimsical hearts, stars, letters and numbers. You can plant them with creative combinations of succulents and ground covers and hang them throughout your garden for a cool vertical display. You could even use the numbers to mark your street address or spell out your name or the name of a loved one in the garden! Order before April 13th so we can bring in the exact shapes you want! They will be available by April 30th, 2014 for pick-up. 

Not only are these living wall planters built from re-used materials but they are also produced by a small family-run business that employs veterans, disabled people and other community members. 

The living wall planters are sold empty with no moss or soil (unlike in the pictures) in order to reduce shipping costs and keep the price as low as possible. They are best filled with a high quality peat- or coconut coir-based potting mix. After planting with hens and chicks, other succulents, or small groundcovers allow them to sit flat for approximately 2-3 weeks or until the plants root in. The planters do not include plants but we have lots of great options at the nursery!
