Young Sprouts Kids Club: Soil!: Creepy Crawlies and All 

Soil is integral to the lives of plants feeding them with the nutrients they need to grow.  Soil is also alive with tons of worms, insects and microorganisms that makes soil a dynamic and exciting place for exploring. We'll discuss the role of soils in healthy gardens and then each child will make a soil mobile to take home.

Our Young Sprouts Kids Club offers a free series of fun and informative one hour workshops designed for children ages 7-12. Younger children can also attend accompanied by a parent or guardian. We'll combine science, horticulture, and arts and crafts to teach your kids about the amazing world of plants and gardening. Invite your child's best friend(s) for even more fun. Parents can hang around to watch the workshop or take advantage of a free hour to shop the nursery! 

*A $5 registration fee is required to book your space. This will be refunded in full at the workshop in the form of a $5 credit that must be used the day of the workshop on any merchandise of your choice. This fee is non-refundable for those who register but who don't attend. If you know in advance that you cannot attend, please let us know 3 days in advance and we would be happy to transfer your registration into another class.
