Frostkiss Hellebore Pre-Order 2019

The world of hellebores doesn't stand still and never ceases to amaze. New complex and rare hybrids are offering forms for the garden that hellebore enthusiasts only dreamed about just a few years ago. These hellebores from the Frostkiss Series are at the cutting edge of hellebores and destined to become garden classics. We also include 'Rosemary' as she is another of the best of these next generation hellebores.

Frostkiss 'Anna's Red' --

This breakthrough hellebore brings the bold red colour of the nodding H. x hybridus into the stemmed group of hybrids previously limited to white, green and pink. 'Anna's Red' has deep red, outward-facing flowers held on top of leathery, boldly-mottled foliage that emerges first flushed with red then fading to pink and mint green. Bound to be an instant classic from the Frostkiss Series. Begins blooming in December.

Frostkiss 'Cheryl's Shine' --

Helleborus Frostkiss 'Cheryl's Shine' offers masses of glowing, light pink, outward-facing flowers on red stems atop magnificent foliage that is mottled and veined with pink and silver later maturing to mint green on a dark green background. Sister plants include 'Anna's Red', 'Penny's Pink', 'Pippa's Purple', 'Molly's White', and more. Begins blooming in January. Great in the garden or containers. Deer resistant.

NEW! Frostkiss 'Dana's Dulcet' -- Helleborus Frostkiss 'Dana's Dulcet' offers masses of relaxing purple and pink tones with greenish highlights on outward-facing flowers atop magnificent foliage that is mottled and veined with pink and silver later maturing to mint green on a dark green background. Sister plants include 'Anna's Red', 'Penny's Pink', 'Pippa's Purple', 'Molly's White', and more. Begins blooming in January. Great in the garden or containers. Deer resistant.

NEW! Frostkiss 'Dorothy's Dawn' --

Helleborus Frostkiss 'Dorothy's Dawn' offers a multitude of beautiful, light pink, partly outfacing flowers atop magnificent foliage that is mottled and veined with pink and silver later maturing to mint green on a dark green background. It will begin to bloom in January at the same time as sister plants 'Anna's Red' and 'Penny's Pink'. Great in the garden or containers and in full sun to part shade. Deer resistant.

NEW! Frostkiss 'Glenda's Gloss' -- Helleborus 'Glenda's Gloss' has beautiful, bicolour, white flowers edged with a broad picotee of warm violet purple with bright chartreuse nectaries. Buds open in early January to outward-facing flowers atop bluish-green, marbled foliage. The Frostkiss Series are caulescent, or stemmed, hybrids by Rodney Davey and also includes 'Anna's Red', 'Molly's White', 'Pippa's Purple' and 'Penny's Pink'. Great in the garden or containers.

Frostkiss 'Molly's White' -- 'Molly's White' is another of the breakthrough hellebores from the Frostkiss series which includes 'Penny's Pink', 'Anna's Red' and 'Pippa's Purple'. This cultivar offers tons of creamy, outward-facing, white flowers developing greenish highlights over incredibly mottled and veined foliage that is at first silver flushed with pink maturing to mint green on a dark green background. Begins blooming in January. Great in the garden or containers. Deer resistant.

Frostkiss 'Penny's Pink' -- Pink buds open in early January to deep pink, outward-facing flowers that slowly deepen to green and deep pink tones. The foliage is a bluish-green and emerges variegated with pink-flushed veins that slowly lighten to silver-green. A pink hellebore that gives 'Pink Frost' a run for its money! Great in the garden or containers. Deer resistant.

Frostkiss 'Pippa's Purple' -- Another breakthrough from the Frostkiss series, 'Pippa's Purple' offers masses of purplish-pink, outward-facing flowers atop magnificent foliage that is mottled and veined with pink and silver later maturing to mint green on a dark green background. Begins blooming in December or January. Great in the garden or containers. Deer resistant.

NEW! Frostkiss 'Sally's Shell' -- Helleborus Frostkiss 'Sally's Shell' offers a multitude of beautiful, glowing, mid pink, partly outfacing flowers with shell pink centres atop magnificent foliage that is mottled and veined with pink and silver later maturing to mint green on a dark green background. It will begin to bloom in January at the same time as sister plants 'Anna's Red' and 'Penny's Pink'. Great in the garden or containers and in full sun to part shade. Deer resistant.

'Rosemary' -- This beautiful hellebore is a rare cross between the classic Lenten rose, Helleborus x hybridus, and the Christmas rose, H. niger and is unlike all other hellebores. Also known as 'Walberton's Rosemary', this cultivar closely resembles the Lenten roses but with a unique, vibrant, clear pink with a lighter centre and veining. The colour deepens to rich, glowing salmon pink. Outward facing flowers in incredible numbers. Since the plants are sterile they bloom for an extended period of time. Deer resistant.

Canadian Mail Order Customers: Some of these hellebores will be available on our official mail order site in 2019 if supplies remain after the Hellebore Hurrah!. If you are a fan of hellebores and want to ensure you get certain cultivars, it is best to order here with a minimum $40 in plants. Orders will be shipped from early March to early April, depending on the weather conditions in your area. Orders cannot be held any later than early April so as long as weather conditions allow for safe shipping we will need to ship to you. You might need to keep the plants in a protected place such as garage, greenhouse, sunroom, or cool room until your weather conditions warm up. If you have ordered other plants and they are ready at the same time, we will ship together. However, if your other plants are not ready we cannot hold your hellebores beyond early April to wait for your other plants. We are unable to quote a shipping rate for your hellebores within this pre-order but can tell you that we charge the Canada Post rate plus a small amount to cover our costs. We do not make money on shipping. In general shipping an average box of 3-5 plants would cost $25-$45 depending on where you are in Canada though this is just a general estimate.
