Helping Small Towns Succeed: Clues, Capitals and Community Resilience
The Heartland Center's annual Helping Small Towns institute which will be held this year in concert with the Community Capitals Framework institute, on October 17-19, 2017, at the new Graduate Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska.
This three-day institute will celebrate the Heartland Center's 20 "Clues to Community Survival," the seven "Community Capitals" and their combined impact on community resilience. Our action-packed agenda will provide multiple opportunities for networking, shared learning and improvement of your practice in community and economic development.
The Graduate Lincoln Hotel is the latest addition to this small chain of boutique hotels located in dynamic university towns around the U.S. The Graduate Lincoln is a completely renovated facility, formerly the downtown Lincoln Holiday Inn, in Lincoln's historic Haymarket District. The Haymarket District has become a popular center for entertainment and entrepreneurial activity in Nebraska's Capital City.
