Nonprofit Financial Risk Management Workshop 

Join local nonprofit leaders & board members in learning how to safeguard the assets of your organization.  This free event offers a great opportunity to learn from local experts about best practices to protect your organization. 

In presentation and panel settings, attendees will hear from the perspectives of law, audit, and insurance. 

Topics include:

• The impact of fraud, particularly on nonprofits, and how to recover more quickly.
• How understanding the psychology behind fraud can help you prevent and/or detect it (the "Fraud Triangle").
• What to do if you think someone under your organization's control commits fraud.
  
• Insurance needed to financially protect your organization.

This event is free and attendance by staff and board members from local nonprofits is strongly encouraged by the organizers.

The event begins at noon with lunch.  Please arrive promptly as the speakers will start at 12:15 pm.  At conclusion of the speakers, there will be a panel discussion with lots of time for questions.  Please come prepared with any questions you may have.
