This past year, IMPACT members raised $8,175 to grant to a local nonprofit.  Members voted on a grant award winner from the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Community Needs Listing compiled by The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg & Rockingham County.  The winner of this year's award is Open Doors!  Please join us in the celebration and help us kick off a new year for IMPACT.

IMPACT, a component fund of The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg & Rockingham County, is a giving circle for local professionals in their 20s through 40s.  Through IMPACT Harrisonburg, local professionals can:

• affordably leverage chartiable dollars
• make a bigger IMPACT collectively
• engage in meaningful philanthropy
• learn about local nonprofits
• meet new people socially and professionally, and
• help make our community a better place through education and philanthropy

IMPACT Harrisonburg Membership Commitment

• New membership amounts and installment plan for 2016-17!   $150, $250, or $350 annually based on age (20, 30, or 40s respectively).  These funds go into the grant pool and are awarded annually to a nonprofit.  All events are paid for through corporate partners and sponsorship.
• No required meetings
• Committes - Steering, Membership, and Grants.  Participation is optional
• Regular educational events for members and the general public.
• Annual grants to local nonprofit decided by membership vote
