How to Register (please read)

To register for the AALJ conference, please click the red "Register Now!" button. You will be taken to the AALJ Registration page. Enter in all the information requested and please check for accuracy. Please ignore the Promo Code box, as it is for internal use. With regard to special meal requests or reasonable accomodation, please only fill in those boxes if you actually have a special meal request or request for an accommodation. If you do not, please just leave those boxes blank and do not put in "no" or "n/a."  Please make sure to enter the location of your OHO office when asked (not your home town).

We need your home E-mail address!  Please make sure to double check that you have entered your home E-mail where asked and that all E-mail addresses you enter are CORRECTLY SPELLED.  Last year we had people who did not receive notifications from us, because they had misspelled their E-mail address during registration.

Payment:  When you are finished entering your information, please click the red "Continue" button, where you will be taken to PayPal for payment processing.   We use PayPal as the interface to process your credit/debit card payment. You do not need a PayPal account to make a credit card or debit card payment. If you have a PayPal account and wish to use it, you can opt to do so.  Otherwise, you can use any personal credit or debit card on that page and pay as a "guest."

Be sure to enter your address and account information EXACTLY as it is on your card to avoid your credit card company or bank rejecting the payment. If PayPal is not processing your credit/debit card, it is usually because the address you have entered does not match the one associated with your card, or you did not update your credit card information in PayPal.

If you have any difficulty registering or using the PayPal interface, please contact Hon. Jeannine Lesperance at  jeannine.lesperance@gmail.com and she will assist you through the process.

Please note that the group room rate of $178 has expired as of 9/28/2018, per our contract with the hotel.

The Francis Marion Hotel, named for the Revolutionary War hero Francis Marion, the “Swamp Fox,” has a long tradition of gracious service, elegant accommodations, and hosting splendid banquets and events dating back to its opening in 1924. Built by local investors at a cost of $1.5 million from plans by noted New York architect W.L. Stoddard, the Francis Marion was the largest and grandest hotel in the Carolinas. The 1920s was the Golden Age of railroads, radio and grand hotels, and the Charleston Renaissance was in full bloom and the Francis Marion Hotel was “the place to be.”

Meticulously restored in 1996 with a $12 million National Trust for Historic Preservation award winning restoration, the Francis Marion Hotel now combines 1920’s style and grace with 21st Century comfort and convenience in the heart of historic Charleston on Marion Square. There have been additional renovations since, including the last few years.  Rising 12 stories, many of the Hotel’s 235 guestrooms and suites offer spectacular views of Charleston’s historic harbor, church steeples and legendary King Street. The hotel boasts a spa for your enjoyment.

THE $178 NEGOTIATED GROUP RATE FOR THE FRANCIS MARION CONTRACTUALLY EXPIRED ON 9/28/18.

See you in Charleston!  We will add info in the Spring about guest tours.
