Meeting Medicare’s Quality Payment Program Requirements: Overview & Assistance

Join Healthcentric Advisors, the New England Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO), on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 5:30pm-8:00pm EDT as our experts present an overview of Medicare's Quality Payment Program (QPP) and offer free, personalized assistance.

Eligible clinicians are required to report performance data that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) uses to adjust future Medicare claims payments. The majority of providers participate in QPP through the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).

Healthcentric Advisors is a nationally-recognized, nonprofit healthcare quality improvement organization delivering education, technical assistance, research, analytical and project management services. As a part of our contract with CMS, our QPP support is provided at no cost to providers.

Attendees will learn the following QPP elements:

  • Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) performance categories
  • Reporting changes for the 2019 performance year
  • Requirements for newly eligible clinicians (physical therapists, occupational therapists, qualified speech-language pathologists, qualified audiologists, clinical psychologists, registered dietitians or nutrition professionals)
  • QPP portal access for submitting and reviewing information
  • Methods for collecting and reporting performance data
  • MIPS score calculation

We will be available afterwards for personalized assistance focused on the specific needs of your practice. Dinner will be provided during the presentation.

If you are unable to attend or have questions following the event, one of our Maine QPP experts is available to assist you.
