In a groundbreaking initiative, The US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) will be launching the 1st International Conference of Muslim Councils in the West. This historic even will be the first of its kind to bring Muslim leaders from around the world together to exchange experiences and discuss common issues of concern to our communities.
The conference will be hosting leaders and decision makers from local, national and international Muslim communities across the globe representing national organizations, Islamic Councils, Islamic Centers, and relief organizations. Also, high ranking government and elected officials from the U.S., EU, and the UN will be in attendance.

The conference will also feature a day for a press conference to announce a joint statement on the conclusion of the conference. An additional day will be arranged to hold a White House briefing and a visit to the US Congress on Capitol Hill.
There will also be a special banquet night where government and elected officials from the United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the ambassadors of the host countries and Muslim countries will be attending.
