Paul Reisler & A Thousand Questions featuring Howard Levy

An afternoon concert of Paul Reisler's songs and instrumentals as well as some Kid Pan Alley songs with Paul Reisler & A Thousand Questions featuring Howard Levy of the Flecktones, Tom Teasley, Heather Mae and Lea Morris in a concert to benefit Kid Pan Alley.  Co-sponsored by RAAC.

Paul Reisler is the founder of Trapezoid, Kid Pan Alley and A Thousand Questions..

”his songs are as radio ready as a Mary Chapin Carpenter performance and as true to life as a Harry Chapin composition.”     V Magazine

Howard Levy is universally acknowledged as the world’s most advanced diatonic harmonica player.  Howard was a founding member of the Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. He toured and/or recorded with Kenny Loggins, Trio Globo, Dolly Parton, Styx, Bobby McFerrin, Paul Simon, John Prine, Paquito D’Rivera, Ken Nordine, John McCutcheon, Trapezoid and many others and is often featured on Prairie Home Companion.

Tom Teasley, described in the Washington Post as “a percussionist in the widest and most exuberant sense of the word,” maintains a unique career as a solo percussionist, composer and collaborator. A 2010 Helen Hayes Theater Award recipient, Tom tours frequently throughout the world performing and presenting clinics for the instrument companies he endorses including Yamaha, Vic Firth, Sabian, Remo, Latin Percussion and others.

Heather Mae studied musical theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Wanting to challenge herself and build her skills as a songwriter, she recently completed a year long project in which she wrote and recorded a song every day.

Lea Morris  is a singer and songwriter whose “soul-folk” blends gospel, jazz, country and R&B with authentic, thought provoking songcraft.  Her work is often compared to Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell and Ani DiFranco.
