Effective Administration:  Learn how to be an effective administrator of your software system and to use the systems’ built-in security rights to tighten your organization’s internal controls. Managing sessions and more.
Data Entry/Importing Tips & Tricks:  There are many shortcuts available and even with years of use, many of these common settings and shortcuts aren’t found by every day users. We’ll discuss importing data, what kind of data can be imported, and the creation and management of import definition files.
Generating Reports:  Gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic capabilities of the robust report generator built into MIP Fund Accounting.   
Financial Statements:  Extensive knowledge to understand financial statement format creation including the development of custom columns and formulas.
Getting Ready for the Audit:  Audits don't have to be painful.  This session provides a check-list as well as vital reports that auditors generally request.
Allocations vs. Distributions:  When you incur an expense, how is that shared among a variety of Grants, Contracts or Programs? MIP Fund Accounting provides two ways to spread expenses in a way that will meet the approval of both your auditors and funding sources. Attend this session to gain an understanding of Distributions and Allocations; how they differ and how they work.
Open Forum for Technical Q&A: This session will be an open forum where we ask you to bring your questions, experiences, thoughts, recommendations, and even past mistakes to share with your peers.

Budget Management
:  Learn how to input your budget into MIP Fund Accounting efficiently by setting up templates prior to generating the budgets. Explore the controls that can be used inside and outside of the system.   Learn to create budget forecasting documents.  
Accounts Payable Processing:  Increase efficiency through tips and tricks with Accounts Payable processing including distribution codes, memorized/recurring transactions.  Learn how to troubleshoot the AP transactions.  
Accounts Receivable Processing:  Learn to easily track complex invoices across unlimited number of reporting segments.  Learn the how to process invoices and utilize the emailing features of AR Billing.  
Encumbrances: 
 Learn how to easily reserve funds for planned expenditures or commitments and improve your tracking and compliance for reporting. Include encumbrances on financial reports and within the budget checking tools to measure true budget performance.
Microix Requisitions:  Improve the availability of information for pre-purchase decision making with through the use of Electronic Requisitions.  We will show you how to easily review the impact of current requests with a one click budget checking tool. Requisition requests status changes will notify you directly from your email with approval or rejection at a click of a button.
Microix Purchase Orders:  Gain valuable knowledge about the complete purchasing solutions by using the easy to use purchase order entry, strong reporting, integrating with Accounts Payable, and receiving seamless functionality. Stay within your budget using one click budget.
