I Promise - to be faithful in my Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service and Witness. Your youth are about to make an exciting commitment to your local church. How can they keep their promise? How do they stay committed to this promise after they are confirmed? Our goal is to help Confirmands beyond their final Confirmation class. We have learned that when youth experience our Confirmation Retreat Weekend they are more likely to stay committed to their local churches through their High School years. We know that Confirmation is about discipleship.

Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center has been committed to youth since 1916. Home of the most important United Methodist Museum in the world, youth can discoer more about John Wesley.  The Heritage Archives Center is a valuable opportunity for youth to get a better understanding of the polity of the United Methodist Church with emphasis on the southeast.  Both of these concepts are sometimes difficult to explain in the local church setting and can be more fun on a scavenger hunt!

The focus of our weekend is to augment the curriculum being taught in the local church, with a focus on providing tools to your youth that will help them into their adult spiritual life.

Program Cost:  $70.00 per person.  We like everyone to participate - mentors and chaperones alike!
