The course will examine the basic principles in building and directing the staff team in the Mid-Size church. From one part-time office person to several full-time ministry staff, the multi-staff environment is both challenging and rewarding. Building and leading a staff team begins with the vision which is translated into the "best practices" of recruiting, hiring, guiding, and evaluating team effectiveness. In additon, the course will offer ideas and sample templates for job descriptions, contract letters, staff handbooks, evaulation models, and other important processes.
