CMI's Summer Splash and Rib-Off

Summer Splash, Cohasset Marine Institute’s largest fundraiser and social event of the year, is on Saturday August 19 starting at 6PM.

This year, we're especially excited to announce the first ever CMI Rib-Off Cooking Competition as part of Summer Splash.

Up to 20 teams of chefs prepare their best flavorizers and tenderizers in their pursuit of becoming the best of the best. CMI will provide each team with 8 racks of ribs and serving containers. Teams will prepare their ribs in secredt off-site and bring their ready-to-serve entry ribs prior to the start of the event for judging. The winning team will be announced at the start of the event, and will earn 12 months of bragging rights as creators of the best ribs on the South Shore! No need to fly to Memphis for a tasty night like this one. In addition to soothing your rowing blisters with delectable BBQ rubs and sauces, we'll have a full spread of accompanying sides, along with an open beer and wine bar. Guests are welcome!

Cost is $50 per person for the greatest ribs and sides you will ever eat!
