Join us for a Central American themed meal as we discuss the region and its ties to Delaware.

Some of the topics we will discuss include:

What is does it mean to be “Fair Trade”?
What is it like to be a farmer in Central America?
Why do people move from Guatemala to Delaware?
What could new immigration polices mean for Delaware?

The discussion will be led by Dr. Lindsay Naylor and Dr. April Veness of the University of Delaware’s Geography Department.  Dr. Naylor studies agriculture in Latin America and Dr. Veness works with Guatemalans in Delaware and abroad.

The ticket price is $25 per person.
The menu is fixed and this price covers the food and drink on the menu only. Coffee and alcohol can be purchased separately at the event.
