For teachers in all content areas, department heads, principals, supervisors, curriculum coordinators, curriculum committee members, and special educators
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course, using the nationally known and research-based Collins Writing framework, provides educators in career and technical schools with practical strategies and techniques. The Collins framework is designed to improve student literacy skills while also deepening the understanding of course materials—both academic and technical. A central feature of study will be the need to teach and use both academic and course specific vocabulary with students in all areas.
