Cumberland Arts Goes to Market Volunteer Registration 

The Ninth Annual Cumberland Arts Goes to Market will be held August 19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. This art, craft and music festival will be held in conjunction with the Town of Cumberland Farmers Market. Volunteers for a number of roles are needed and we hope we can count on your time and talents to make this festival a success! 

Volunteer roles available:

Parking attendant:

Volunteers will assist with the arrival of vendors and help direct them to their booth and parking spaces. As festival visitors arrive for the day volunteers will assist in directing them to available parking spots.  Two hour shifts starting at 6:30 a.m.

 

Artist registration attendant:

Volunteers will assist in greeting food vendors and artisans arriving to the festival, directing them to their booth space and assisting them in their booth set up.  Two hours shifts starting at 6:30 a.m. 

 

Hospitality attendant:

Volunteers will work throughout the day greeting guests, passing out programs and providing directions to booths, answering questions about festival activities and assisting vendors/artists as needed.  Two hour shifts starting at 8:00 a.m.

 

Silent auction attendant:

Volunteers will help set up and/or stage auction items at various times during the week of the event including the day of the event. Volunteers will also monitor silent auction booth and answer any questions visitors might have about items and/or bids.

 

Event evaluation attendant:

Volunteers will circulate through event crowd and hand out surveys to visitors regarding their experiences at the event. Volunteers will also deliver event evaluation forms to vendors near close of the event and pick them up upon their completion.  Two hour shifts starting at 8:00 a.m.

 

Set-up and tear-down attendant:

Volunteers will assist in setting-up equipment from 6:30 am to 9:00 am and tear down equipment from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

 

Church monitor:

Provide assistance to voluteers and festival visitors entering and exiting Cumberland First Baptist Church.  Two hour shifts starting at 9 a.m.
