What does a typical Wisdom Collective Series Workgroup Meeting look like?

Each group meeting is unique, but follows this typical agenda:

  • 9 am Mini-seminar and dialogue on the educational topic, assignment or reading
  • 9:20 - 11:45 am Progress updates on member goals and commitments from previous meetings, problem solving, coaching/mentoring, feedback, designing next steps, accountability statements for upcoming steps.
  • 11:45 - 12:00 Action Plans and closure

Meetings are hosted by different organisations.  While most groups meet downtown Vancouver, members sometimes find out about their exact times and meeting locations upon registration.  Special-interest groups and internal teams meet at their own locations.

Is your team that is working below their potential?

Would you like to motivate, coach and inspire them?

The Wisdom Collective series helps you to:

  • get more done
  • achieve greater focus and action
  • enjoy collegiality and mentoring from like-minds
  • make smarter decisions

Starting this September the Wisdom Collective is a series of confidential 3-hour meetings joining a world-class executive coach together with group mentoring from your peers who are also accomplished leaders supporting each other as they achieve and surpass goals faster than on their own.

Exclusively for those prepared to be challenged, inspired and to take action.

Which group is the best fit for your learning objectives?

CEDAR GROUP:

Designed for senior managers and leaders who supervise staff seeking leadership excellence in the workplace such as:

  • Transitioning to a highly strategic role
  • Enhancing your leadership presence to be more engaging and motivating
  • Strengthening working team culture and climate
  • Improving leadership and ability to inspire and engage others.
  • Learning to say no

Gain confidence and effectiveness as you prepare to step into your next leadership role.  Get feedback, new solutions and inspiration to define a course of action and leverage your courage to achieve and surpass it.

SPRUCE GROUP:

Designed for strategic executives/directors who manage managers and want to become more effective at:

  • Finding the balance between the strategic and the tactical elements of your role
  • Managing particularly difficult managers and teams
  • Preparing to prioritize increasing demands and increasing expectations
  • Addressing choices, changes and challenges more mindfully and with emotional intelligence

No human can do it all, so what is the best way to handle competing values and priorities?  This is the advisory board that can help with sticky decisions and situations.  Benefit from others’ hard-earned leadership experience, make better decisions through coaching, define, focus and implement your plan and realize new perspectives and insights you could never have achieved alone.

ALDER GROUP:

Designed for professionals motivated to get traction on a personal goal such as:

  • Handling an important life transition with grace
  • Achieving better time management
  • Balancing life-work responsibilities
  • Strengthening an attribute such as assertiveness, listening, follow-though, tact or confidence
  • Self care (stress management, eating healthier, fitness goals, etc)

Increase clarity on priorities and improve life balance and resilience by committing to and taking needed actions for the outcomes you want and deserve.  Develop the thinking patterns and stronger, healthier habits that will make a lifestyle shift more durable and sustainable no matter what future stressors lay ahead.

CREATIVE COLLECTIVE GROUP:

Designed for creative professionals who are successful but scattered and wish to:

  • Manage distractibility (too much curiosity?)
  • Maintain focus and complete their brilliant initiatives (too much innovation?)
  • Strengthen their impulse control (bored easily?)
  • Build on their ability to stay calm under pressure

Do you wonder if you might have ADHD?  The Creative Collective is a new workshop meeting series which will develop better reflexes and thinking habits so you stay focused on your purpose despite distractions, boredom and enticing temptations.  Click to register for the CREATIVE COLLECTIVE (You need this separate registration page for the 2014 July Bootcamp)

Looking for a Different Group?

Would you like to get together with people with a different purpose than listed above?  If there is sufficient interest, we could form a new specialty group (minimum 6 people).

Examples include groups supporting life/career transitions for MD's and RN's, Real Estate Agents, or Project Managers. Expressing your interest does not mean your must register, but it lets us know if there is a need.

Also would you be interested in a Women's Only , Physician's or Engineer's group?  We have intial interest, but need a few more to make a group.  Contact us to find out more.

Fees?

Proposed schedules include Cedar groups on Tuesdays and Spruce groups on Thursdays of the third week of the month TBC.  See registration page for early bird discounts if applicacble.
