The 2014 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Coaches Clinic sponsored by Elite Performance will be held on Friday the evening of May 9th and Saturday, May 10th at Investors Group Field. The complimentary clinic is an opportunity for football coaches in Manitoba to enhance their knowledge and expertise as they prepare to mentor young players during the 2014 football season.
The Friday night portion will feature in-class professional development split into two sessions. The first session will give new coaches the opportunity to obtain their required NCCP certification. The second session is for veteran coaches who already have their NCCP certification, and will provide information on three different topics of relevance to minor football. Check in begins at 5:00 p.m. with sessions starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Winnipeg Blue Bomber and University of Manitoba football operations meeting rooms. The evening will end at 9:00 p.m.
All participants are invited to attend two on-field sessions on Saturday, May 10th. Coaches will witness two separate practices conducted by coaches from across the province. This will provide everyone an opportunity to witness the drills and on-field dialog that can be incorporated directly into their coaching repertoire when they return to their own programs later this year. A coach can follow any position group in order to pick up the information that is most pertinent to their coaching situation. The first practice begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by a complimentary lunch at Noon, with the final practice session starting at 1:00 p.m.

Designed for coaches looking to obtain ongoing professional development. Three, one-hour sessions covering a variety of topics will be offered; coaches can choose sessions that are most appropriate for their interests and area of focus.
