seating is limited to preserve social distancing

April 2, 2021

We welcome you to celebrate Good Friday Mass with the entire Catholic Community of Northern Columbia County on April 2.

This year, Good Friday Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St. Joseph in Stottville.  To worship together safely, we are are limiting our seating to 55 worshipers at this Mass. You can register on a first-come, first-served basis so we can safely socially distance in our beautiful church.

We encourage anyone who is in a high-risk group or uncomfortable in public spaces to continue to worship with us online.

Please plan to arrive early if you are joining us for Mass; the church will be open at 3 PM. Please expect to be screened and registered when you arrive so that we can provide contact tracing if necessary.

By joining us at Mass, you agree to follow these guidelines to protect your own, and respect fellow worshipers' health:

  • You are in good health to attend Mass - on arrival, you will be screened for symptoms, contacts, and travel that might put you or others at risk. Please note travelers arriving from overseas as well as states subject to 14-day quarantine in New York State (please see please see https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory for the latest list of US states subject to New York State travel restrictions).

  • You will wear a mask for the entire service, and on the sidewalks around the Church

  • You will follow the guidance of ushers and greeters, and maintain social distancing as you enter, exit and move around the church.   .

  • You will use hand sanitizer - we recommend bringing your own, but we will have sanitizers available throughout the church

  • Parishioners are kindly asked not to congregate or socialize in the church

We look forward to worshiping with you and our tri-parish family!
