2012 Picture This...International Disability Film Festival on the road in Vancouver
It's time to head to the movies again!
Open Door Group is excited to present the 3rd Annual “Picture This…Film Festival, an International Disability Film Festival” in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside on Thursday, August 23rd.
The evening will include a screening of several award-winning, short films from around the world that have been produced, written and/or directed by persons with disabilities. Be entertained, learn something new or gain a greater understanding of disability through these incredible films. This year's festival includes the Unique Art Experience, a gallery showcase of artwork created by participants in Open Door Group's Leisure and Health program, as well as pieces from artists in the Vancouver community.

Details: This year's event kicks off at 5:30pm with refreshments, the art gallery showcase and mingling. A special presentation from our guest speaker will commence at 6:45pm and films are kicking off at 7:00pm.
The venue is District 319 at 319 Main Street and is wheelchair accessible. All films are captioned and interpreters will be available for presentations.
