Brett and his firm have had considerable involvement with SMSFs and "limited recourse borrowing arrangements", formerly known as "instalment warrants".
These arrangements offer marvellous opportunities for the right clients with an appropriate profile, however simple errors can unfortunately result in very costly and undesired outcomes.
Brett’s presentation will focus on practical real-life aspects of these SMSF borrowing arrangements. Of particular interest will be some of the problems his own clients have encountered, presented in the engaging and entertaining format of "Top 20 Tips & Traps". Particular attention will paid to Brett’s experience with the major banks and issues dealing in other States.
Anyone considering advising of these arrangements should attend this seminar, and even if only one of these practical lessons saves you or your clients from making a costly mistake, it will have been well worthwhile attending.
