Training is 8:30am-4:30pm daily, with 1-hour lunch break and 2-15 minute breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Lunch is on your own.
This training is approved by NASW for 6.5 hours/day for CEH's (13 total for the 2 days). You will receive your certificate of attendance after completing an online survey after your training.
You will receive an email within a week of the training dates with a link to the training materials. You will need to PRINT and BRING the TWO documents to the training.
Carey Guides/BITS are cognitive behavioral interventions that are utilized during one on one work with youth to address criminogenic needs. The contents of this training are highly experiential with a great deal of practicing to ensure that participants leave with a level of comfort to return to work and use the Guides/BITs.
