This year’s event, Breaking Down Barriers, will highlight the problems many people encounter while trying to access substance abuse treatment. It will also offer industry best practices and solutions, as well as feature key Delaware leaders who will provide an overview of the state’s planned redesign for this system of care.

Christiana Care staff members will present a case study in which a Project Engage patient faced multiple barriers to accessing care. An interactive session will follow, during which the audience will work in teams to develop solutions that overcome these barriers and create a viable referral plan.
