Social Media Marketing for Small Businesses

Do you need practical advice on tapping into internet-based social media as a low cost means of expanding your marketing success?

SCORE is holding a workshop explaining how to use Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest, and YouTube to market your business. The workshop will begin with the basics so you will find it valuable even if you have not yet used these services. You will be introduced to topics like Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, GOOGLE keywords and trends, content development and update schedules, integrating Social Media with other forms of marketing, and content quality versus quantity.

Dr. Paul Smith will present the workshop. In addition to being a local SCORE counselor, he owns a consulting company focused on internet marketing for small businesses. We will have several certified SCORE counselors also in attendance so that you can discuss your specific issues after the workshop.

The workshop is conveniently located near the Highway 441 corridor between Ocala and The Villages. We hope to see you if you have a small business in Ocala, Dunnellon, Belleview, Summerfield, Lady lake, Fruitland Park, Wildwood, or The Villages area.

The fee for this workshop is $10 and you can bring a guest for only $5 more. The registration process will give you the ability to pre-pay using PayPal, credit card, or mail in a check.
