SCORE "Steps to Business Ownership" Workshops

SCORE is offering a 3-session workshop series called "Steps to Business Ownership".  Each workshop is interactive with examples, and supporting resources.  Presenters are seasoned business people who want to see you succeed. SCORE mentors will attend and be available to work with you for free outside of class.

Session 1 will provide an understanding of what it takes to own a business. You will learn ownership options, the pros and cons of each, responsibilities, and what it takes to succeed. This workshop is designed to help you reach a decision on whether you are ready to take the next step.

Sessions 2 and 3 address the key steps to business ownership. Additional registration fees apply to Sessions 2 and 3. You will learn how to develop the elements of a business plan and where and how to look for funding sources. You will participate in a case study designed to guide you through the thought processes which you can apply to your own business concepts. Session 3 ends with a self-evaluation to help you decide if you are prepared to move forward. Sessions 2 and 3 are scheduled for December 10th and 11th at the same time and location. 

The registration fee for Session 1 is $10. Your spouse can attend with you for free. Payment can be made by check through the mail or using a credit card or PayPal account. The registration fee for Sessions 2 and 3 is $20 each and again, your spouse can attend for free.
