Continuing Education Information

One (1) hour of continuing education credit will be awarded upon successful completion of each 60-minute session.

The Copper Ridge Instiute is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Copper Ridge Institute maintains responsibility for this program and its content. 

The Copper Ridge Institute is a Certified Sponsor of professional continuing education with the National Association of Long Term Care Administrators Boards (NAB) and has approved this program for the number of clock hours listed under their sponsor agreement with NAB/NCERS. State licensure boards, however, have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses. 

The Copper Ridge Institute is an approved sponsor of The Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners for continuing education for licensed social workers in Maryland. The Copper Ridge Institute maintains responsibility for all programs offered. 

This program has been submitted to the Maryland Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The Maryland Nurses Association is an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Dementia Care Grand Rounds Online offer a convenient way to learn from experts in the field of aging and dementia care, and receive continuing education credit. Each 60 minute session reviews a current topic related to care of persons with dementia. Sessions are held 11am-12pm the first Wednesday of the month, September through June. There is no limit to the number of individuals who can participate at each registered site.

3. Continuing education certificate or certificate of completion for each participant

4. Access to archived recordings of session(s)
