Purpose of the training: Participants will gain an awareness of the role of the Standards for Mathematical Practice and the Effective Math Teaching Practices in math teaching and learning. Participants will be able to articulate the importance of conceptual understanding for math learners. Participants will begin to build a toolkit of strategies, tools, and resources that address the needs of all students, including those with disabilities.
Audience: General Education Math Teachers, Special Education Teachers (both Resource and Collaborative), and / or Co-teaching Teams

Cancellation Policy: School districts (or schools) will be billed following the activity based upon registration. Cancellations must be made within ten (10) business days of the activity to avoid being billed the fee. Substitutions will be allowed.
