This year, the Annual Hoboken Secret Garden Tour, on Sunday, June 2, will feature seven private gardens graciously opened to visitors by Museum supporters to help us raise funds for our programs. Every year, the tour offers a fresh selection of traditional and contemporary gardens created by professional landscape designers and dedicated gardening enthusiasts. We will include a few bonus, not-so-secret gardens as well!
The guided walking tour takes about two to three hours, and groups leave every half hour from the Museum between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tour groups are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so it pays to arrive early. A map and detailed description of each garden will be included in the Tour booklet, available on the day of the tour. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 on the day of the tour (Museum members pay $20 on the day of the tour, and children under 13 may accompany parents or guardians for free.). Rain date is June 9.
Tour goers can save time and money by buying a ticket in advance, by clicking the "register now" button below, or stopping by the Museum, 1301 Hudson St., Tuesday - Thursday from 2 - 7 pm, or Friday 1-5 pm, Saturdays & Sundays 12 - 5 pm. Or call 201-656-2240 to reserve tickets by credit card. Your name will be added to the will-call list at the Museum.
Tickets are also available (for purchase by check) at six other convenient locations:
