Program Director, will present on the City of Atlanta's Smart City initiative including the North Avenue Smart Corridor project. This project is using technology to provide data driven performance and fresh solutions to multimodal mobility needs and safety improvements from Georgia Tech to Ponce City Market. As citizens expect more "real time" solutions, the North Avenue corridor will offer a layered approach to meeting mobility and safety needs for all users, leveraging public partners and private sector investment and educational institution resourcing while showcasing technology applications of the future including smart signals, bike and pedestrian detection, transit prioritization and an autonomous vehicle demonstration.
