Step Outside and Into Engagement:
Outdoor Classroom Leadership
Harness the benefits of the most interactive instruction possible: learning on school grounds, outside the four walls of the classroom. This workshop is designed to provide teachers with: 
- training in conducting class outside on any type of school grounds in order to engage and inspire students
- guidelines, rules, safety considerations, resources and handouts
- classroom management practices that fit within existing PBIS models and are specific to the outdoors
- time for collaboration and lesson planning
Recommended for K-12 teachers. *Dress for the possibility of going outside.
All workshop participants will receive:
- ready-to-use hands-on lessons, Student and Teacher manuals, and other supporting resources and experiences
- evidence for teaching environmental education and technology education
- a certificate of participation from the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education upon successful completion of each workshop
- substitute reimbursement of $125 through UW Stevens Point
