Utilizing Regional Resources to Find Your Business Partner Match

You know your district needs to develop more business partnerships, but there is not enough time in the day to dedicate to cold calling local companies to find the right partners for your school? Then, this event is for you! At this workshop you will hear from the organizations in our community who are eager to introduce you to the business partners they work with.

Objectives:

• Learn about local intermediary organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Organizations and Industry Associations who can help you find the right business partners for your district
• Meet with your county intermediary who can help you connect to local businesses
• Walk out the door with new partners and a plan how you will work with them

Participants will be most successful if they come with ideas on how you envision working with businesses toward shared goals that benefit both students and employers. Therefore, if you have not done so in the past, we encourage you to attend the “Building Better Business Partnerships for your District” workshop scheduled on the same day. Lunch will be provided for those who register for both workshops.
