Teaching Language in
Math & Science Classes

Participants will learn ways to foster language development for all students in the content areas of math and science. Strategies for promoting interactions and engagement in the classroom will also be shared.

Through this training, participants will:

• Examine instructional strategies for supporting students' language development in math and science
• Practice developing language objectives in the content areas of math and science
• Identify scaffolds and supports for instructing all students through differentiated strategies
