Refresher Training for Autism

During this refresher training, participants will not only review core concepts of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training, but they will also:

• better understand students with autism
• explore a variety of strategies and interventions specifically designed for staff who work in this field
• highlight special considerations
• adapt concepts for use with students with ASD

This program enables you to integrate knowledge and skills from a variety of areas.

Note: This course is a refresher only. It takes the information learned in the initial course and applies it to children on the autism spectrum. It is meant to further expand on the what is learned in the initial (foundation) course.
