IEP Training for LEA Representatives

Come learn about the College & Career Ready (CCR) IEP changes and how to incorporate them to provide Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to your students.

The LEA (Local Educational Agency) Representative plays a vital and necessary role on the IEP team.

Each IEP team meeting must include an LEA Representative who is:

  • qualified to provide or supervise the provision of special education services
  • knowledgeable about the general education curriculum
  • authorized by the district (local education agency) to commit the district resources

The DPI revised CCR-IEP forms align with Results Driven Accountability or Reading Drives Achievement (RDA) and the goal of all students being college or career ready. This training will provide insight into the critical components of the CCR-IEP process, a deep understanding of the commitment of resources, and best practices in IEP meeting facilitation.

Audience: Principals, Associate/Assistant Principals, Deans of Students, Directors of Special Education/Pupil Services, School Psychologists and other Pupil Services Staff

Cost: $70/person
No Charge for 2r Charter Schools-Registration is required
