Why You Need This Free Workshop

Let’s face it, all small businesses have financing needs sooner or later.  We’re here to help you assess your needs and review potential sources of funding. 

What You’ll Learn

  • various strategies for managing cash flow issues,
  • what information a bank is looking for when you apply for financing and how to be prepared
  • how a commercial bank evaluates a financing request,

What You Can Expect

TD Bank and SCORE team up to give you all the strategies. There will be more than enough time to get all of your questions answered, so bring your curiosity! We’ll also complete a sample calculation of the Small Business Capital Formula. We’ll also explore examples and sources of tools and techniques available to craft a business plan and financial projections. As a result of taking this workshop,  you’ll be better equipped to find and choose the right type of financing for your business growth plans and what you need to develop a business and financial plan that sets the stage to seek outside financing.

Our Presenters

Matt Parlier has been a small business lender for 10 years and has a total of 22 years of experience as a commercial lender.  Prior to his current role, he specialized in financing private aircraft.

Curtis Springstead is a Certified Mentor for the SCORE Northeast NJ Chapter. During his 38 years in the IT and management consulting industry he been as a strategic IT consultant, designing and implementing major business change and the supporting technology at a variety of high profile clients. Curt has been a trainer and part time professor, having developed and delivered programs on high tech and consulting skills.
