Please join us for three virtual mini-MESPON meet-ups in October, November and December 2020! Each session will feature a panel of industry stalwarts, experts and local operations personnel whose discussions will connect the dots of the sulphur industry, over the decades and across geographies.
Greetings friends of the sulphur community,
What a difference a year makes! This time last year we had just wrapped up our live MESPON 2019 Forum (Middle East Sour Plant Operations Network) in Abu Dhabi, which turned out to be our most successful event yet, with nearly 500 delegates in attendance. This year, our world has completely changed. Although we are still in limbo as to when things might get back to ‘normal,’ we have been busy devising the best way to keep the MESPON community connected until we can meet face-to-face again.
The global sulphur community has demonstrated its resiliency in these unprecedented times by staying connected via various excellent virtual forums. In order to keep the MESPON community connected in unique and meaningful way, we are pleased to announce the 2020 mini MESPON meet-ups, a series of three virtual ~2-hour interactive panel sessions, which will take place over the course of the next three months, with the following features and objectives:
- Curated content, specifically focused on Middle Eastern sulphur producers’ needs
- Interactive panel discussion format rather than individual paper presentations
- Ongoing connection to strengthen the Network for more continuous collaboration
- Shorter sessions allow wider global participation across multiple time zones
- Signature daily mini-MESPON quizzes with valuable prizes!
In October, November and December 2020 you will have the opportunity to take part in the ongoing conversation about some of the biggest issues facing sulphur producers in the Middle East (see high-level agenda below) via a digital discussion forum.
