More About Chris Brophy
As Chief Financial Officer at Barrett-Jackson, Chris oversees the finance and accounting functions for The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions. Chris joined the team in August 2019, and draws from his broad hospitality, finance and operational experiences to develop analytical tools and resources that support the objectives of Barrett-Jackson. His passion for hospitality and entertainment provide focus for financial and operational evaluations that improve efficiency, profitability and guest experience across the organization.

Prior to joining Barrett-Jackson, Chris was a Divisional Chief Financial Officer for MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas. During his 14-year career at MGM Resorts, Chris oversaw a diverse set of financial and operational improvement initiatives. These included being a key leader in driving the company’s Profit Growth Plan, delivering more than $400 million of incremental annual EBITDA, and building the company’s platform for the use of commercial-scale renewable energy, including developing the 8.4MW solar PV array at the Mandalay Bay convention center rooftop, the largest of its kind in the world. In addition, Chris helped enhance employee benefits at MGM Resorts, developing and launching a first-of-its-kind, public-private partnership with Nevada System.
