10/6/21 Geneva Lake Museum Daytrip 

10:00 am to 1:30 pm

Time travel to the late 19th and early 20th century at Geneva Lake Museum, opening just for us with a docent-led tour! Experience a rich history that captures the essence of Lake Geneva as you walk Main Street to enter historic stores, homes, school room, blacksmith shop, fire engine house, log cabin, general store and others for close-up looks at artifacts and daily living. Beyond Main Street learn the amazing stories about Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hotel Geneva, Yerkes Observatory, cartoon character Andy Gump, boats and Yachts of Lake Geneva, the Northwestern Railway and much more!   

Schedule: 

Geneva Lake Museum/Lunch Schedule (255 Mill Street, Lake Geneva, WI 53147)

9:45 am: Park for FREE at 3 locations: museum parking spots along building’s north side, along the fence just east of the museum and further north at Sage Street parking: LOT D.  Meet Tricia at the north side of the building (in the museum’s parking area) to get your entrance sticker.

 10 - 11 am: Docent-led tour of the Geneva Lake Museum, opening just for us!

We will have two docents, each of whom will lead 12 people.

 11 - 11:30: Time on your own at the museum.

 11:30 - 12 pm: Take a short drive to Gino’s East in Lake Geneva.

 12 - 1:30 pm: Park in front of or behind Gino’s East Restaurant and meet Tricia at Gino’s entrance.

Enjoy a Buffet Style Lunch in the Main Dining Area.

Enjoy three types of pizza

1. Original Deep-Dish with pepperoni, mushrooms, and sliced tomatoes.

2. Thin Crust with Italian sausage, green peppers, and black olives.

3. Original Deep-Dish Vegetarian with mushrooms, roasted sweet peppers, and spinach.

Salad: Field Greens: Romaine, field greens, cherry tomatoes, red onions, black olives, croutons, with homemade aged balsamic vinaigrette.

Dessert: Fresh Baked Cookies

Beverages: Unlimited soda, coffee, and water. A cash bar is available.

Refund policy: refunds will be issued only if the cancellation is received 2 weeks prior to the event deadline stated for each event. 

For cancellations please call the Vanessa at the A.L.L. Office at 262-595-2793. 

If you pay by credit card, your credit card will be refunded. (Minus the $5 cancelation fee)

If you pay by check you will be issued a university refund check.
