 Christmas at the Monastery with The Atlanta Boy Choir

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, The Monastery of the Holy Spirit is pleased to present the Annual Christmas concert by the Atlanta Boy Choir.

In our 41st year of presenting these special Christmas concerts, we again welcome this joyous Christmas Season with another special performance. Music Director Robert Henry, D.M.A., presents the welcome collaboration of the Atlanta Boy Choir and its Men’s Alumni Chorus. 

Dr. Robert Henry has put together a beautiful collaboration of the Atlanta Boy Choir and the Alumni Men Chorus. The men's choir will add a powerful sound to the program. The program includes a small chamber group (SATB), featured Artists-in-Residence singers, and musical interludes.

We will hear Classical compositions, traditional carols, spirituals, and Latin hymns accompanied by harp, flute, oboe, violin, cello, and piano. The concert invites the audience to listen to crisp notes and beautiful voices in this unique and hallowed space at the monastery, with its incredible acoustics of Norman Gothic architecture. The monastery has been a special place for the hundreds of alums - boys who have gone through the choir ranks over the years.
